In April 2005 members of Chester le Street Theatre Group performed 

Catherine Cookson's "The Fifteen Streets" at the Gala Theatre, 

Durham City

    This was the first occasion the Society had staged a production at a 

professional Theatre and was also the first truly joint production between 

the Senior and Junior Sections.
